For over 40 years, Extra Special People (ESP) has created transformative experiences for individuals with disabilities and their families — changing lives and changing communities for the better. One of ESP's most beloved programs is ESP by the Sea: an annual beach trip that brings families to the Gulf Coast for a week of accessible beach experiences, genuine connection, and the kind of joy that comes from truly belonging.
This year, we're bringing the magic of the holiday season together with a mission that matters. Sleigh on 30A is a festive evening benefiting ESP by the Sea — and your ticket puts more families on the shore. Join us on Saturday, December 5 at Watersound Club on 30A from 5:00–8:00pm for an intimate evening of passed hors d'oeuvres, a holiday carving station, a hosted bar, live music, a curated silent auction, and a moment to hear directly from an ESP family about what this experience has meant to them.

"ESP by the Sea is so much more than a beach vacation. Christian loves the beach — but taking him on our own isn't as simple as packing a bag. Accessibility is something we have to think about every step of the way.
The support from ESP staff, buddies, and volunteers is unbelievable — always someone nearby asking, 'How can I help?' They help with transfers, push the beach wheelchair, and get him all the way down to the water's edge.
That extra support gives me something incredibly valuable: the opportunity to relax. As special needs parents, we become so accustomed to doing everything ourselves. ESP creates a place where I can accept help without judgment and truly take a breath.
Even though it is just Christian and me who attend, I never feel like I am doing this alone. I am surrounded by friends who have become family — people who understand the struggles, the joys, and the things that don't always need to be explained. There is no judgment. We feel seen, loved, and completely welcomed.
I always leave with a full heart. I'm already counting down until next year."
